Hey tristan let’s learn about our adventures today yeah i went on a kiwi boat did you like the kiwi fruit oh yeah you saw me i was eating away in new zealand oh people in new zealand sometimes call themselves kiwis why maybe because kiwi fruit grows there and the kiwi bird lives there too true today we’re gonna make pavlova which is a kiwi dessert bird or fruit fruit silly this is our friend kim’s kiwi farm definitely lots of teas hi guys to make our pavlova dessert we had to collect some ingredients from around kim’s farm but first the kiwi dance what’s your key then yeah sure first we’ve had the farm animals so ready to call you call tuppence you call lucy there you go okay really loud she’s a big black kuni kuni pig hello hello lucy hello lucy oh under the heat this is a pig machine after we fed the animals we went to get some eggs for our pavlova it’s the chickens oh they have brown eggs right hi bluetooth oh you guys hop on then we would attract you to get some fresh kiwi fruit okey dokey tractors go up they go faster we use special bags to hold the fruit over your shoulder like a front pack i’ll look for one how about a hole to hold it down for you not five oh no bugs great four time to mix all the ingredients for our pavlova is that your daughter yep actually you wanna help us make the paddle over okay come on lean come on tristan excuse me she’s drunk there you go what about me here we go we washed your hands crack the egg in half and then mix all the ingredients what you just leave it like that i did it that’s amazing that’s a great way of doing it i needed some more towels it’s going to be a bit noisy turn it on high in here after it baked for a while we got to cover it with cream and kiwi fruit oh i got an idea yeah you can put it all around it’s not giving me any um uh thank you hey save some room for the pavlova tristan we took some for grandma to try what do you think nana i love it sent us to see your friend dom he takes care of kiwi birds that’s dom hi hi dom hi guys do you know what this is yup kiwi why don’t we get up on top of it but it’s not real and here we are ah whoa what is your favorite birds um eagle raptors we have falcons here falcons falcons what kind of falcons like the paraguayan falcon new zealand bush falcon i really i have a book it’s called 8 000 things you should know and eagles eat sloths there’s a kind of eagle yeah they must be pretty big to eat those yes yes yes dom took us to see some other new zealand birds what kind of bird are we gonna be seeing next an owl see a harrier whoa there are a lot of birds at the aviary what is everybody again tj it’s like a zoo for birds hey tom what’s this big thing that’s our walk through avery and we’re gonna see a kiwi dom said he could show us a kiwi bird up close here goes nothing is there a kiwi in there sure is why don’t we get it out okay let’s go don’t jump on me it’s okay it doesn’t have fleas this time it was a brown one that one’s crazy what can you see that’s unusual it’s great yep big feet that’s its only weapon of defense it’s the only way it can stop predators from attacking it like ferrets like ferrets and stoats does it have wings it has a very very small wing tucked in under here we might not be able to see it you see it there oh do they click so they can talk no kiwis can whistle or shrill when they call each other at night how does it do that it’s like a set of chopsticks hi kiwis nice to see you we had a tasty time eating kiwis the fruit in new zealand hi guys before you go do you want to see something special like a tuatara yeah okay i thought you guys didn’t have lizards here look at that you found a bit of skin it’s like i’m having a bath he’s of the splenidon family this guy will live to over 100 years old well pick you like reptiles or birds better i like boats how’s that sound
