Priscilla the Baby Groundhog | Sam's Zookeeper Challenge

SAM:Hey everybody. I’m at an animal sanctuary in Maryland, and one of my challenges is to take care of this little guy. Who’s a groundhog baby…well little girl. She’s so cute! Welcome to the party! There’s two! Oh! Come on. Woah! So cute! So thanks for having me out here, Terry. Can you tell us about your sanctuary?
TERRY: Yeah, we’re a sanctuary for farm animals and wildlife.
SAM: Okay.
TERRY: And we’re in Poolesville, Maryland. We have 430 acres and we have about 250 animals here.
SAM: 250? That’s a lot.
TERRY: Yeah.
SAM: So what are we grabbing over here?
TERRY: So we’re going to get some food for Priscilla.She likes…uh watermelon.
SAM: Okay.
TERRY: And she’s a little groundhog.
SAM: She’s a little groundhog?
TERRY: Yeah, she’s a baby groundhog that’s uhm super-tame.And she’s coming out of her hole her…
SAM: That one right there?Oh my god. She’s so cute.Check her out her. Ooh, hi…
TERRY: She loves watermelon.
SAM: Oh she’s like ‘I don’t want to look at myself.’Priscilla, I got watermelon.Come on, I know you want it.Aww…yawn.Come on. It’s juicy.There you go. It’s yummy.She’s so cute. Hi baby.Yum, yum, yum, yum yum.So cuteHow old is she you said?
TERRY: So Priscilla is four months old and she was born in
this groundhog hole underneath our shed.
She’s a totally wild groundhog,
but for some unknown reason she just became super-tame.
SAM: Really? TERRY: Yeah.
SAM: She seems really big for a baby.
TERRY: Yeah, she’s big but if you see her mother her,her mother her is like three times the size of her.
SAM: That’s so crazy.
TERRY: So she really is small for a groundhog.
SAM: Where’d she go?
TERRY: She went back in her hole. Priscilla?I’m gonna toss a peanut to get her to come. SAM: Alright, we’re trying carrots now. Come get it. Come on. It’s super yummy. Huh! There’s two! Come on. (groundhog sounds). Uh… Are you guys fighting over the carrot? Uh, oh…Come on. I don’t think you’re Priscilla. I think you’re the brother. Come on guys. Come on. Hi baby! This is super cool.
