Thailand: Tigers – Travel Kids in Asia

um like a dog thing that’s good everyone’s different he has a big ear and a small ear he’s an alien tiger and he spits out little little firing pieces of asteroid today we met some playful tigers in thailand oh world adventure sometimes brothers and sisters play fight okay let’s play game gaming and city girls are pretty but they just don’t know your name some more double somewhere no it’s not italian oh never two three never oh yeah that was a lucky win molly there are a lot of beautiful temples in thailand definitely a lot today sam and i are visiting a very special one called the tiger temple do you know why they call it the tiger temple sam cause there are real-life tigers there every morning the monks eat breakfast with the tigers this temple is important because it gives these tigers a new home and a new place to sleep safe and sound that’s our friend mae she knew a really cool way to get to the tiger temple bamboo rafts let’s go guys hurry up we’re coming parker fell out they’re called bamboo wraps because they’re made up of long pieces of bamboo tied together are we going on the farthest racks and yeah right over there so if anyone falls it’ll be me be careful molly okay don’t step in the water is there fish in the river there’s lots of fish there’s lots of other animals too just because we can’t see them doesn’t mean they’re not there are there any tigers uh right now around here probably not long long time ago there probably were lots of tigers out here what is this river called it’s called the queen night notice when you guys uh go down there is that it spells it’s spelled k-w-a-i yeah everyone thinks it’s quie but that means buffalo and thai it’s actually pronounced queer bye river quay hello tiger temple this is one of the only places in thailand for orphan tigers to go and the temple is getting bigger and bigger every day so they can help out more tigers what kind of tigers are these well i’m pretty sure they’re indochinese tigers and that’s what that’s the kind of species that we have in in thailand are tigers related to cats they are they are related to cats you look at any of the household cats and there there’s a lot of differences and similarities they do the same thing they hunt the same way me do you want to know what my favorite thing about tigers is yeah sure what they’re pretty they’re pretty huh they look like rock stars the tiger temple doesn’t just have grown up tigers they also have two baby kittens a sam uh baby tigers are called cubs are you sure they’re not colored kittens pretty sure sam but you don’t know for sure it’s cubs buddy trust me how old are they they’re exactly five months old they’re pretty big we got there just in time for the kids cubs cubs lunch that is a lot of chicken mm-hmm i don’t know we’ll see if they can finish it up too he’s coming in here comes the other one sam should we take some pictures sure nice toe shot sam hope you enjoy your meal just like sam and i the tigers get some play time after lunch in their very own pool there they are sam they’re already in the water do tigers like to play in the water yeah they do they’re actually really good swimmers too people don’t think so but tigers can swim a good bit they’re just playing they’re kind of staring each other out tigers play fight just like me and molly except they have sharp teeth and claws your nails are pretty sharp hey molly all these tiger on top run away molly tiger molly tiger leap miss me i’m coming to get you hey no biting no biting run away run away i am the king of rock mountain not for long queen of rock mountain after watching the tigers play with each other in the water we kind of wanted to play in some water too tiger water fight it was awesome splashing around like tigers in thailand hi now you guys seen big cats before we go you guys want to see millions of bags millions i’ve never seen anything like this do you want an ex adventure how do you say bye in thailand
